The International and Specialized Services (ZAV) is responsible for international services within the Federal Employment Agency (BA). The BA works with many high-ranking domestic and international cooperation partners and labor market services. The focus is on the immigration of skilled workers from abroad and the placement of special professional groups.

The ZAV is the central point of contact for all questions about working and living in Germany. With its information and advisory services, the ZAV supports foreign employees - both before and after entry - to quickly find their way around Germany and to feel welcome.

At this online workshop, we focus on the job market in the health sector.

The first part of the workshop is about “Working and Living in Germany”. The content includes the German job market, skills shortage, visa, recognition, social security system, application and job search, including the presentation of our services.

In the second part of the workshop we talk about working in the health sector in Germany and about what the workers need to be able to work here. During the OnlineWorkshop the requirements for the work visa, the recognition and the obligatory language skills will be presented and discussed.

Questions can be asked after each lecture, as well as during the lecture via the chat function.
