How AI and Industrie4.0 shape the industry of tomorrow

Through digitalization, the interconnection of man and machine and artificial intelligence, industry is being newly shaped. In the "Industry 4.0" vision, machines and objects are becoming "intelligent"; they communicate with each other and with people. Cyber-physical systems, which use sensors to detect their environment, act on them with actuators and are networked with each other, are an integral part of the "Industry 4.0" vision.

We want to presenter our ideas and discuss with you, how Industry4.0 and Artificial Intelligence will shape production, logistics and supply chain management. This will be illustrated with some examples from Industry4.0 as well as applications of AI.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Furmans, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the KIT and Academic Director of the HECTOR School invites you to this online info session – offered from the HECTOR School of Engineering and Management – the Technology Business School of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). With him will be Senior Program Consultant Martina Waldner to present the M.Sc. in in Production and Operations Management. You will learn how to get up to date with the latest technology and management development and transfer it directly into your company.
